CETYL ALCOHOL

Cetyl alcohol is derived from vegetable fats such as coconut oil, sugar beets or soy plants. It is important to distinguish between this skin-friendly form of alcohol from the drinking or rubbing alcohols which are drying and irritating to the skin.

On the opposite - Cetyl alcohol is healing, soothing and softening the skin. In our formula it is also used to to carry the other ingredients, to thicken and harden the mix, and to provide smooth texture and easy glide to the skin.
