ZINC OXIDE

Zinc Oxide is a white powdery substance that is created when the metal zinc is heated along with oxygen, causing the zinc to oxidize. Naturally it’s found in the mineral Zincite. Zinc oxide is well known for its soothing and healing abilities.

Zinc Oxide keeps the skin hydrated and when applied topically has antiseptic, astringent and anti inflammatory properties. It’s often used in baby care products, sunscreen lotions and deodorants for its ability to limit the growth of bacteria.
