The Nicely story
Nicely Natural started out from my curiosity about the potent compounds found in nature. Saps that heal wounds, oils that suppress inflammation, and oxides with remarkable antibacterial properties. Natural substances like these became the basis for my countless experiments with natural cosmetics. I wanted to see if I could create products that worked for my skin and my body. And work they did!
However, like all experiments, there was a catalyst - cancer. My father was diagnosed and died from cancer at an early age. Later, when I started researching natural ingredients to help a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer, I had no idea that in a few years I was going to be diagnosed with breast cancer myself.
It was from these difficult beginnings that my passion emerged and I started my journey into the world of natural health. I poured my effort into understanding what I could do to live a healthier life. It seems obvious, in retrospect, that I decided to combine my love of natural cosmetics with my research and learning about clean and healthy living. Cancer was simply a beginning, not an end. It fueled my desire to create a product that would be natural, healthy, and effective.
It’s exciting that a product like Nicely Natural can actually make a difference. Millions of people use deodorants everyday. If we all stopped using deodorants in plastic packaging, we will prevent 13 million tons of plastic waste per year in the U.S. alone.
But we want to go even further. Through partnering with Eden Reforestation Projects, for every purchase of Nicely, we have committed to plant a tree. Trees mean forests, and forests mean more plants, animals and clean air. Together, we can slow down climate change and make an impact.
The story of Nicely Natural is a story of hope, and belief that everything will be alright. And I still have an ambitious goal - to make a difference, with your help! I hope you love Nicely Natural as much as I do! Thank you for your support.
