CANDELILLA WAX

Candelilla wax is derived from the grass-like Candelilla plant, grown in the dry regions of Mexico and southewestern part of the United States. It’s name translates to “little candle, as the first use of this wax was for making candles.

In skincare and personal care products it provides many benefits such as gloss and lubricity, skin conditioning, and reducing the appearance of stretch marks, wrinkles and age spots. It also acts as an astringent to shrink pores, and is ideal to use if you have an allergy to bees, pollen or honey.
